Requirements for VAT refunding |

In more than 30 countries
More than 30 countries will today refund VAT provided a company as a minimum fulfils the following two conditions:
The company must be registered for VAT (or equivalent where this is not possible) in its home country.
and ...
It must* be located in an EU member state / country.
*NOTA BENE:
Please note, that many of the above-mentioned countries also refund VAT to companies in countries that are not members of the EU - in such cases often on the basis of reciprocity, i.e., only to companies from countries with which an official mutual agreement has been entered.
In any event, the VAT refund happens only to registered companies and solely on business-related purchases of goods and services. |
